Getting Started
CrateSweep scans your Serato library, finds duplicate tracks, and helps you review them before deleting anything so you can clean up your library with confidence.
CrateSweep looks for the standard Serato database location on your Mac automatically. If it cannot find it, you can browse to it manually.
CrateSweep can find exact duplicates, similar duplicates, and broader groups of alternate versions depending on the scan mode you choose.
Yes. CrateSweep supports cloud library files such as Dropbox and Google Drive.
Review & Cleanup
Yes. CrateSweep shows the details DJs actually use to make decisions, including song title, artist, play count, bitrate, track length, filename, and full path.
Yes. Scan results are shown in a structured table so you can search, filter, select tracks, and move into a dedicated review step before anything is removed.
Yes. CrateSweep includes a review step before deletion so you can double-check the tracks you have selected.
Deletion Workflow
CrateSweep is built around safe cleanup. It is designed to help you remove duplicates without damaging the crates, history, or metadata that matter in your Serato library.
Yes. By grouping likely duplicates together and showing useful metadata side by side, CrateSweep helps you choose the copy you actually want to keep.
CrateSweep requires you to leave at least one track in a group. This way you won't accidentally delete all versions of a song.
No. For normal deletes, CrateSweep moves the selected audio files to macOS Trash instead of permanently deleting them.
No. CrateSweep is designed to block deletion actions if Serato DJ or Serato Studio is open, helping prevent unsafe changes while your library is in use.
Backup & Restore
Yes. CrateSweep creates a backup of your Serato database before running a normal delete, giving you an added layer of protection.
Yes. CrateSweep stores automatic backups and includes a restore action so you can replace your current database with the latest CrateSweep backup if needed.
Performance
Yes. CrateSweep is built for real-world Serato libraries and is designed to help DJs clean up larger collections faster and with more confidence.
Manual clean-up is slow and makes it easy to miss duplicates or remove the wrong file. CrateSweep gives you a faster, clearer, and more reviewable workflow built specifically for Serato libraries.
Yes. Removing duplicates from your Serato library reclaims real disk space. DJs typically recover several gigabytes on the first scan, especially after years of imports, edits, and re-rips. Files are sent to macOS Trash, so the space is freed once Trash is emptied.

No. CrateSweep is designed as a simple one-time purchase.
