Terms of Service

By downloading, purchasing, or using CrateSweep, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. CrateSweep is a product of Cribb Productions ("we", "us", "our"). These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use CrateSweep on your own macOS device. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software.

Free Tier

CrateSweep includes a free tier that is available at no charge and has no time limit. The free tier is not a trial and does not expire.

The free tier includes access to smart scan modes, duplicate grouping, play count display, and file path display.

Pro License ($19 one-time)

If you purchase the Pro upgrade, the same personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence applies, and you unlock backup and rollback protection, trash-based deletion, and one-click restore.

The free tier is available at no charge. CrateSweep Pro is a one-time $19 purchase. No subscription or recurring fees apply unless expressly stated at the time of purchase. Future major version upgrades may be priced separately.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble CrateSweep
• Use the software in any way that violates applicable laws
• Attempt to remove or circumvent any licensing mechanisms

CrateSweep is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Cribb Productions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of CrateSweep, including any loss of data. CrateSweep is designed with safety features to help prevent accidental data loss, but you are responsible for maintaining your own backups.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of CrateSweep after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will note the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.
